• exceptional leadership
• attractive partnership
• adequate staff and systems
• effective public relations (PR)
• effective sales model
• good communication and interaction
• perfect alignment and networking
• equity-driven

The educational start up companies launched between year 2011 and 2012which exhibit excellence in above-mentioned areas are encouraged to file their nominations for the category- ‘Award for Best Startup Company of the Year’.
