Our Selection Process
The awards underwent a highly rigorous selection process conducted by an esteemed jury panel comprising senior members of AICOI and the School of Educators (SOE), including Dr. Ashok Kumar Dubey. With more than 500 nominations from distinguished educationists, the jury carried out a meticulous, multi-stage evaluation to identify the most deserving award recipients.

Guest List & Speakers
Mr. Deepak Vohra is an experienced Indian diplomat who served as Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs and as India’s Ambassador to Poland. He is currently Special Adviser to the Prime Ministers of India, Lesotho, and Guinea-Bissau. In 2012, he was Advisor to the Government of South Sudan.Throughout his Indian Foreign Service career, he held diplomatic roles in France, Tunisia, the US, Chad, Cameroon, Papua New Guinea, Spain, Armenia, Sudan, and Poland, and was Deputy High Commissioner in Kuala Lumpur in 1995. Before his diplomatic career, he served as Officer on Special Duty to the Technology Advisor to India’s Prime Minister. Mr. Vohra previously worked with Sulabh International, contributed to United Nations assignments in Africa, and brings deep expertise in development issues and African politics. He is an alumnus of St. Stephen’s College, St. Columba’s School, National Defence College (India), and the University of Paris.
Madhup Mudgal is an Indian Hindustani classical music vocalist., known for his khayal and bhajan renditions. A disciple of Kumar Gandharva, he is also a composer, conductor of famous Gandharva Choir and has been principal of the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Delhi, a music and dance school since 1995.
He received the prestigious Padma Shri award from the Government of India in 2006
Dr. S. Farooq, one of the most notable Muslim figures of Northern India, may very well be called a “vibgyor”, the abbreviation of seven colours that form light. His personality has umpteen hues, each one of which is no less bright than the other. Equipped with the highest degree in academics, D.Sc, he is as conspicuous by his presence in Mushairas and other cultural events as in high level conferences, seminars and enclaves. He is an excellent orator, a passionate lover of Urdu poetry, a preacher of Islam, a vibrant horse rider, a successful industrialist, a keen social activist and a great socialite. His tastes for fine arts also are multidimensional. He has a collection of more than a dozen old vintage cars and a beautiful collection of Qur’anic manuscripts, tasbihs and calligraphic arts.
Dr. Harish Chaudhry is a distinguished academic and educator. He completed his schooling at The Doon School, holds a B-Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, a PGDM in Marketing/Behavioral Sciences from IIM Bangalore, and a PhD from IIT Delhi. Before joining academia at IIT Delhi’s Department of Management Studies, he worked at Dunlop India Ltd., NIIT, and RAAG Systems.
Dr. Chaudhry is a certified Lead Assessor (RWTUV, Germany), has completed courses in dBII, ISO 9000, and ERP (Baan Systems, Netherlands). His primary research interest is “Excellence in School Education.” He has led a national movement on Values Education, organizing ten international conferences and delivering over twenty training programs for school leaders on educational management and academic leadership in India and abroad.
Dr. Kunal Kala (Circle of Life) at , Delhi has been practicing since a while. A recognized name in the field of psychiatry, the doctor has received a lot of appreciation for his contribution to the society. The psychiatrist can be reached at the clinic situated at at , a renowned neighbourhood of the city. In all the years of practice, the psychiatrist has been involved in solving various mental disorders in children, adults as well as elderly people. It is the compassionate approach of the practitioner that makes patients feel at ease and be vocal with the doctor, allowing the doctor to gauge various symptoms for prognosis of the disorder.
Dr. Jaspal Kaur Kaang is a prominent professor and academic leader at Panjab University, Chandigarh. She has served as Chairperson of the Department of Guru Nanak Sikh Studies for 10 years and as Co-ordinator/Head of the Punjabi Department in the University School of Open Learning (USOL) for 19 years. She has held roles as Dean of Language and Design & Fine Arts Faculties and Chairperson of USOL.
Dr. Kaang has been a member of Panjab University’s Senate, President and Organizing Secretary of World Punjabi Conferences, and Chief Editor of the Panjab Journal of Sikh Studies (since 2011). She completed a major UGC research project on applying Guru Granth Sahib’s teachings to modern life and has served on the Advisory Board of Panjabi Sahitya Akademi, Govt. of India, for 10 years.
Honourable Justice Mr. Rajesh Tandon started career practicing as an advocate in the year 1968. He has held several important position under the Consutition of India. Justice Tandon was appointed as Senior Advocate (2000), Hon’ble Judge, High Court Uttarakhand (2004), Presiding Officer, Cyber Regulation Appellate Tribunal, Delhi (2008) and currently he is a Member of State Human Rights Commission, Uttarakhand. Justice Tandon has authored 4 books in law and has also been awarded prestigious Sahityik Puraskar on the famous book “Muslim Vidhi” in Hindi by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. In its Message dated December 14, 2011 to NBAI members Justice Rajesh Tandon reiterates that he looks forward to working with legal community and that we need to work with Government of India in bringing strong legislation and policy with respect to Information Technology Act, 2008.
Mr. KC Mittal has been elected as the new chairperson of the Bar Council of Delhi while the post of the vice-chairperson pocketed by DK Singh and Ved Prakash Sharma is the new representative to the Bar Council of India.The elections for the new office-bearers of the country’s largest bar council were held at 4 pm yesterday and the results were declared subsequently. Mittal had held the position of chairperson between 2001 and 2003 as well. He was also the president of the Delhi High Court Bar Association between 2007 and 2009. In the past Sharma was elected as chairperson of the Bar Council of Delhi, while Singh is an entrant to the officer-bearers of Delhi lawyers’ body.
Dr. A.K. Bakhshi is currently working as the Founder Vice-Chancellor of PDM University. A double gold medallist, did his post-doctoral training at the University of Erlangen-Nurnberg in Germany. He has excellent working experience at various capacities both in India and abroad. In terms of research activities, his interests include theoretical polymer chemistry. Dr. Bakhshi has published nearly 170 research and education articles and one patent.
Professor Chandra is a FOUNDER DIRECTOR of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research, University of Delhi. He has been VICE-CHANCELLOR, Bundelkhand University, Jhansi for six years (1999-2005) as well as the President of the Indian Chemical Society (2004-2006), Member, Planning Commission, Government of U.P., India and Secretary – Zaheer Science Foundation, New Delhi, Non-Official Director, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL). He is Professor of Chemistry at University of Delhi and a distinguished scientist; Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, London.
Mr. Kulbhushan is president of National Independent Schools Association (NISA), a national federation of state associations of budget private schools in India. He is also president of Federation of Private Schools Associations, Haryana. He is also Haryana state president of Patriotic Forum of India and state working president of National Human Rights Protection Organisation. Previously, he has also been general council member of the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyanand of Haryana School Education Rules Review Committee.
Mr. K.K. Aggarwal, Mentor CEGR and Chairman, NBA was the chief Guest in this program. Prof. Rajive Kumar, Advisor, Policy and Academics, AICTE, was the Guest of Honour. Lt. Col. Kailash Bansal, Director, Skill Development, AICTE, and Mr. Sanjiv Goswami, Managing Director, Springer Nature was the Key Note Speakers in this program. On this occasion, Prof. K.K. Aggarwal emphasized on practical outcome based learning of education system. Dr. Anupam Chouksey, Secretary, LNCT Group, said that Changes are happening rapidly in every aspects of life in this era and we all need to adopt the changes with this rapid speed only. Everyone should adopt the changes keeping the fundamentals in place.
Mr. Wajahat Habibullah (born 30 September 1945) was the chairperson of the National Commission for Minorities. Prior to this, he held the position of the first Chief Information Commissioner of India. He was an officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) from 1968 until his retirement in August 2005. He was also Secretary to the Government of India in the Ministry of Panchayati Raj (Local Government).
